“ This was I first time coming here I was skeptical at first and when I tried it wow amazing. I got the beef hot dog with mozzarella cheese chef's kiss. I had to bring my son here 2hrs late and he loved it as well. I order the sweet and spicy wing with waffle fries it was okay. I feel the chicken need to be more seasoned and the sauce need more spice because it wasn't spicy. But overall experience I would give it 3.75/5. Would I return maybe for the hotdog but I don't know about the chicken needs some work. But the lady was really nice! ”

“ You can really tell they use fresh oil every day (as said on the box). The food never makes me feel heavy and the hot dogs have a good flavour. Definitely will become a regular place for me! ”

“ This location Chungchun Rice Hotdog opened up along Wilson Avenue, west of Bathurst about two months ago. It is located beside The Fifth Taste sushi restaurant. There is some limited parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is clean, with no seating; takeout only. This location has the same selection of beef and beef/chicken hotdogs that other franchise locations have. The staff serving me was helpful. I asked for the least sodium-laden product and was told that the Cheddar hot dog variety would be the least salty. Lots of choices for sauces/toppings including ketchup, spicy mayo, sweet chili, barbecue, honey butter and cheddar powder. It took about 10 minutes for them to make my hotdog fresh from time of order. It was hot and crispy upon first bite. You can tell they use fresh oil daily as the shop doesn’t smell heavy with oil, and the taste of the batter on the hot dog was clean without any rancid taste. The cheddar cheese (like cheese spread; think Cheese Whiz) indeed was not salty but the hot dog was. At least as a combination they balanced each other out. Despite the heaviness from the cheese, the overall product didn't taste greasy. Will definitely be back to try other varieties of hotdog, including the tteok (rice cake) option. ”

“ Hot dogs were so good! Huge portions for the sizes and different combinations of hot dogs and sauces can make it personalized to anyone's tastes! Staff was friendly but only complaint was the time as it took a while to get our order. ”
